Sustainability by Ebnat AG

Sustainability is not a fashionable trend at Ebnat, but a value cultivated over decades. We are very pleased with the change towards a more sustainable society and it shows us that we are on the right track with our principles.

We like wood and our products made from it. Wood is renewable and CO2 neutral. Our FSC®-certified Swiss beech wood comes from the forests of Toggenburg. Each trunk is unique and gives our products a unique character. With every wood product sold, we reduce plastic consumption in the cleaning sector. We believe in the future of wood products and are constantly expanding our manufacturing capabilities.

But we also like plastic. Although it's not renewable, as it is mineral-oil based, sustainable products can also be created if recycled plastic is used responsibly. Plastic has very good properties that we can and want to use for our products – especially in the wet area. At Ebnat AG, we therefore process plastic from post-industrial and post-consumer «waste». But we also use organic plastic from secondary agriculture and Ocean Bound Plastic.

Ebnat produces innovative products in Swiss quality. This means that our products accompany customers over a long period of time and reduce resource consumption. Durability is an important aspect of sustainability.

Ebnat would also be happy to produce the sustainable alternative for your private or branded label!

Our sustainability competition

Which Swiss brush factory is constantly working to become even more sustainable? - We'll answer this rhetorical competition question for you ourselves... Ebnat AG, of course!

Fill in the form, send it to us and with a little bit of luck you will travel to PLMA in Amsterdam in a CO2-neutral way.
The 10 winners will be notified after the trade fair and will receive a certificate from myClimate.


Only commercial persons are eligible to participate. Private individuals are excluded from participation. Employees of Ebnat AG are not entitled to participate. The closing date for entries is 28 May 2024. The draw will take place in camera on 5 June 2024. There is no obligation to purchase. The winners will be notified in writing. No correspondence will be entered into about the competition. The competition prize cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. The legal process is excluded.
